We understand the importance of trees and their place in the environment. It is our policy, wherever possible to leave fallen trees trunks to provide new habitats for wildlife.
We encourage repurposing and recycling of all natural materials.
Some tree species can only be worked on during certain times of the year, as well as certain types of pruning activity. We will advise where appropriate and schedule in work accordingly to ensure the optimum health of the tree or plant.
We routinely carry out Habitat Disturbance Assessments on all sites before starting work.
Each member has been trained to identify bat sites and nesting sites. Where identified, work will be postponed pending further investigation and advice from professionals.
We operate our services in full compliance with the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 and the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000.
We use bio-degradable chain saw oil and purchase equipment designed to reduce environmental impact. We are committed to using fuel efficient machinery and recycling wherever possible.
